Secondary

Our Secondary Program incorporates the New Jersey Core Content Curriculum Standards for children ages 14 to 21. Students in this program focus on both functional curriculum and pre-vocational training skills with a strong emphasis on independence. Our students enjoy state-of-the-art technology to expand their communication opportunities and explore their world in new ways. 

Larc provides a unique opportunity to secondary students by the rotation of classes. Students report to local homerooms and then alternate through academic, daily living skills and pre-vocational instruction. Through participation in recreation and leisure activities, students develop age-appropriate social skills.

Students also enjoy Adaptive Physical Education (APE), Community-Based Instruction (CBI), and art, music and technology opportunities.
